Following the release of his sixth studio album, GNX, on November 22, Kendrick Lamar has announced a U.S. stadium tour coming to Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, May 3. The surprise album follows 2022’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, which won Best Rap Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. GNX debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Kendrick will be bringing his former Top Dawg labelmate SZA for all dates, who is featured on “Luther” and “Gloria” on GNX. SZA released her second studio album, SOS, in 2022, and is expected to release the deluxe edition, Lana, in the coming weeks. SZA’s SOS Tour skipped Charlotte, but she performed in North Carolina at Dreamville Fest earlier this year. Kendrick last performed in the Queen City in 2022 at Spectrum Center for The Big Steppers Tour with Baby Keem.
Cash App Card users will have the first opportunity for tickets on Wednesday, December 4 at 10 a.m. with the public sale beginning Friday, December 6 at 10 a.m.
