Lupe Fiasco will be touring with Dirty Heads this summer, making four stops in North Carolina

Huntington Beach California reggae rockers Dirty Heads have announced a 2023 tour with none other than Chicago Food and Liquor rapper, Lupe Fiasco. The Grammy Award-winning artist who is currently a visiting scholar at MIT, recently played a string of tour dates to celebrate the 15th anniversary of his sophomore album, The Cool. This will be Lupe Fiasco’s first shows in North Carolina since concerts at Duke University (2018 and 2011), Greensboro in 2011, UNC Charlotte in 2010 with B.o.B, Elon College in 2009 with Girl Talk, and his 2008 run on Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark Tour. Lupe released his latest album, Drill Music in Zion, on June 24, 2022.

The “Island Glow” tour will hit four cities in North Carolina, including Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater on July 27 with G. Love & Special Sauce, Asheville’s Rabbit Rabbit on August 2, Charlotte’s Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre on August 3, and Manteo’s Roanoke Island Festival Park on August 6 with Bikini Trill.
