Grammy-nominated Jamaican-American saxophonist, producer, singer and rapper, Masego has announced a North American tour kicking off in March 2023, coming to The Fillmore in Charlotte on April 9. Masego came to prominence in 2017 after releasing two EPs: The Pink Polo EP and Loose Thoughts. He further gained major recognition with his collaborative track with FKJ, “Tadow,” releasing his debut album, Lady Lady, in 2018
Following the release of his debut album, Lady Lady, Masego embarked on a multi-year headlining tour that found him selling out shows and playing festivals around the world. His latest single “Say You Want Me,” earned praise from NPR as “a vibrant cut…settling somewhere between amapiano and dancehall.”
