My Morning Jacket will kick off first U.S. headlining tour in five years in Charlotte

My Morning Jacket has announced their first U.S. headlining tour in five years, kicking off in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 27 at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre. With support from Flock Of Dimes (August 27 in Charlotte), Brittany Howard (September 3-11), Durand Jones & The Indications (September 23-October 3), and Bedouine (October 29-November 6), the band will also make several festival appearances in 2021, including Railbird Festival (August 28), Bonnaroo (September 4), Ohana Festival (September 24), and Suwannee Hulaween (October 30).

Having released eight studio albums with three Grammy nominations for Best Alternative Album for 2008’s Evil Urges, 2011’s Circuital, and 2015’s The Waterfall, My Morning Jacket will perform a wide-ranging set with new music, fan favorites, and hits from their expansive catalog.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m. (local) except for Chicago shows, which go on sale on Friday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m. (local)
