Abrams gained national attention in 2018 losing a narrow Governor’s race to Brian Kemp. After accusations of voter suppression, she started the voting rights non-profit organization, Fair Fight Action.

The two-time New York Times best-selling author (Our Time is Now and Lead from the Outside) also starred in the documentary All In: The Fight For Democracy, examining issues of voter suppression in America. She was also recently awarded the inaugural Social Justice Impact Award from the NAACP Image Awards in 2021.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 21 at 10 a.m. for Charlotte and 12 p.m. for Durham. Check out the full tour schedule.
