NBA All-Star week in Charlotte will bring a wide array of new and retro apparel to the Hornets Fan Shop at Spectrum Center. Harkening back to the city’s first All-Star Game in 1991; Hornets, Charlotte, and North Carolina themed gear is set to be released in retail stores and online in the coming days. Having Michael Jordan as the owner of the Charlotte Hornets doesn’t hurt on the Nike and Jordan Brand front, as a few Charlotte and North Carolina inspired kicks are a scheduled to be released leading up to All-Star Weekend.
The Jordan Brand All-Star jerseys have already been released with a hint of nostalgia from the Charlotte NBA All-Star Game in 1991. With a honeycomb pattern in the NBA star logo and crowns for the Queen City on the vents, it’s definitely been a popular item.
