Drake’s highy anticipated sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy has finally arrived. Already breaking streaming records on the back of internet squabbling with rival Kanye West, the 21-song album follows much of the same recipe of head-nodding rap tracks and clever word play featuring hip-hop heavyweights like Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Lil Baby, Future, 21 Savage, and Rick Ross.

One track in particular may stand out for Charlotte residents that are familiar with Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology in West Charlotte. The magnet school is named after education activist Phillip O. Berry, who was also the first African-American to be elected to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education and the first to be elected to the North Carolina House of Representatives from Charlotte.

While that may have nothing to do with Drake’s CLB, the school’s cheerleading squad has shared that the sample on the track “7 am On Bridle Path” features their Gold Squad chanting “Gold Squad get it crunk” throughout the song, one of their legendary school cheers.
