Rapsody has announced a world tour that will culminate with homecoming in Charlotte and Raleigh

Coming off the release of Rapsody’s fourth studio album, Please Don’t Cry, the Snow Hill, North Carolina native and Jamla/Roc Nation rapper has announced a world tour that will culminate in Charlotte and Raleigh this fall. Please Don’t Cry, Rapsody’s first album since 2019’s Eve, is her most personal work to date, featuring Erykah Badu, Lil Wayne, Alex Isley, Baby Tate, Mantragold, and Niko Brim with narration by Phylicia Rashad.

The tour will kick off with four European dates in September and arrive in Charlotte at Amos’ Southend on October 25 and conclude in Raleigh at Lincoln Theatre on October 27. Rapsody will be joined by Niko Brim as an opener for all dates, who is featured on four of the 22 tracks on Please Don’t Cry. The Mount Vernon, New York native, Brim, released his latest album, Hues, on March 22.
