Ahead of Thursday’s Charlotte Knights season opener, Sabor Latin Street Grill has announced they will be serving up some of their street food favorites at BB&T Ballpark this year. The fast and casual food concept focused on authentic street food from El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia, has grown tremendously since their first restaurant opened in 2013.

“Latin street food is a great fit for baseball,” says Dalton Espaillat, CEO of Raydal Hospitality, the ownership group behind Sabor Latin Street Grill and Three Amigos Mexican Grill & Cantina. “Our menu is full of items that are made to be consumed using your hands, without utensils. It’s casual, portable and packed with flavor.”

Elote Loco: Mexican-style corn on the cob with cheese and chili powder

Sabor will be in the concourse along the third base line, and will feature a limited, custom menu, with prices starting at $5:

  • Elote Loco: Mexican-style corn on the cob with cheese and chili powder
  • Empanada: Fried pastry with cheese and shredded chicken
  • Tacos Americanos: Two flour tortillas with shredded chicken or beef, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese
  • Nachos: Fresh tortilla chips topped with beef and chicken, black beans, queso, lettuce, tomato and Cotija cheese
  • Chips and Queso: Creamy white cheese with fresh corn chips

Charlotte Knights kick off their 2019 campaign on Thursday against the Durham Bulls. Check out more on Sabor Latin Street Grill.
