Sabrina Carpenter has announced a North American tour, coming to Raleigh in October

Pop singer-songwriter and actress Sabrina Carpenter has announced a North American headlining arena tour set to kick off on in September, making a stop in Raleigh (PNC Arena) on October 19. The 29-date tour will be supported by Chinese-Jamaican pop singer-songwriter Griff in Raleigh with Amaarae and Declan McKenna on select dates.

The tour will support Carpenter’s forthcoming sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet, set to be released on August 23. Earlier this month, she dropped the album’s second single, “Please Please Please,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album’s lead single, “Espresso,” released in April, was also a big hit, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard 100.

Carpenter made her acting debut in 2011 on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and gained recognition as a Disney Channel personality, starring in Girl Meets World and Adventures in Babysitting. Outside of Disney, she has also appeared in films such as Horns, The Short History of the Long Road, Clouds, and Netflix productions Tall Girl, Tall Girl 2, and Work It. Earlier this year, Carpenter also opened for Taylor Swift on the Latin American leg of the Eras Tour.

Presale for the tour will begin on Monday, June 24 at 10 a.m. with Cash App cardholders using the first nine digits of their card to access the presale (must use Cash App Card to purchase).
