Preparing for the release of their upcoming fifth studio album, Automatic, indie folk rockers The Lumineers have announced a 2025 tour that will make four stops in the Carolinas, including Raleigh (September 16 at Coastal Credit Union Music Park), Charlotte (September 17 at PNC Music Pavilion), Greenville (September 23 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena), and Charleston (September 26 at Credit One Stadium). Best known for their hit songs “Ho Hey,” “Ophelia,” “Stubborn Love,” and “Cleopatra,” the band rose to fame during the folk revival of the early 2010s. Their self-titled debut album reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts and earned Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Americana Album.

The band released the first single from the forthcoming album, “Same Old Song,” on January 8. Automatic finds songwriters Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites at their most personal yet, according to their official press release. Inspired by the 2021 Peter Jackson documentary Get Back, the band recorded at Woodstock’s Utopia Studio, capturing an organic, raw sound with minimal delay.

The Lumineers will be joined by up-and-coming Texas indie folk singer-songwriter and musician, Chance Peña, who is coming off the release of his debut album, Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming.

Artist presale will begin Tuesday, February 18 at 10 a.m. with tickets going on sale to the public on Thursday, February 20 at 10 a.m.
