Tuck Fest, the Whitewater Center’s annual three-day celebration of outdoor lifestyle and music, will return on April 25-27. The festival will be headlined by Alabama southern soul band St. Paul & The Broken Bones, led by the dynamic Paul Janeway; Grammy-nominated British country/soul singer-songwriter Yola; Texas country rocker Tanner Usrey; Georgia country/soul duo The Band Loula; folk singer-songwriter Alex Lambert; folk revivalists The Last Revel; and funk/soul band Joslyn & The Sweet Compression.
Now in its 12th year, the free festival (parking is $12) also offers a packed schedule filled with dozens of races and competitions across the Whitewater Center’s 1,300-acre facility, expos, vendors, and clinics all weekend long.
Named after the Tuckaseegee Ford and Trail, a historic trading route that passes through the Whitewater Center property, Tuck Fest also features daily yoga practices, clinics for all ages, and a Vendor Village showcasing over 60 outdoor industry brands.
The outdoor activities will include trail races, whitewater kayaking, paddleboarding, rock climbing, and mountain biking, all set against the backdrop of the Whitewater Center. This year, the festival introduces new events, including the Deep Water Solo, Boatercross, and Dirty Crit competitions. The elite-level competitions will see top athletes vying for a total of $40,000 in cash prizes. Guests can participate in all citizen races and competitions with a one-time registration fee, and spectators can enjoy the action for free.
