R&B singer-songwriter Victoria Monét will hit the road this year for her first-ever headlining tour, coming to Charlotte on September 18 to The Underground. The prolific songwriter who has written for artists such as Ariana Grande, Blackpink, Fifth Harmony, Chrisette Michele, Coco Jones, Dirty Money, and more, has also announced the release date for her long-awaited sequel to her debut album, Jaguar II, set to be available on August 25. In addition to her own impressive music catalog, Monét has earned three Grammy nominations as a songwriter for the Ariana Grande album Thank U, Next and the song “7 Rings,” along with “Do It” by Chloe x Halle.
Monét has released three singles this year leading up to the album release: “Smoke” featuring Lucky Daye on March 24, “Party Girls” featuring Buju Banton on May 24, and “On My Mama” on June 16. The 21-city tour will kick off in Detroit and arrive in Charlotte on September 18 to The Underground.
