Charlotte Hornets vs. Phoenix Suns at Spectrum Center (7:00 p.m.)

The Hornets return home this week for back-to-back games against the Phoenix Suns and Indiana Pacers as the season enters its final stretch and teams jockey for positioning. Charlotte has already clinched a play-in spot despite losses to the 76ers and Celtics over the weekend, which closed out their seven-game homestand. While the Hornets still mathematically have a chance to reach the sixth seed, they will likely land somewhere between seventh and tenth in the play-in tournament. The Suns, currently seventh in the Western Conference standings, are led by five-time All-Star Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks, who returned Tuesday against the Orlando Magic after missing time since February 21 with a fractured left hand. The Hornets will host SLAM Night on Thursday to celebrate Kon Knueppel’s cover on Issue 261, with SLAM Magazine on site selling Kon merchandise along with select items and activations. Knueppel also has a chance to break the Hornets’ single-season record for most three-pointers, as he currently has 257 — just three shy of Kemba Walker’s franchise-record 260 set in 2018-19.
