White’s return should give the rotation a significant boost, adding another scoring option and much-needed ball-handling and shot creation. White’s ability to attack the basket should create more spacing and kick-out opportunities for Brandon Miller and Naz Reid. Detroit enters the matchup with a 5-1 record, led by two-time All-Star point guard Cade Cunningham, who is averaging 22.2 points, 7.2 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game. The Pistons will be without center Jalen Duren, who is sidelined with a right hamstring strain, while guard Isaiah Joe is listed as day-to-day with a hip injury.
