Babymetal is a Japanese kawaii metal band formed in 2010 that blends J-pop music with heavy metal rock. Comprised of members Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal), Moa Kikuchi (Moametal), and Momoko Okazaki (Momometal), their debut self-titled album was released in 2014. The band has toured internationally, performing at major music festivals across North America, Europe, and Asia. Their latest album, The Other One, released in March 2023, reached No. 3 on the Japanese Oricon charts.
