Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears are a soulful blues/funk band from Austin, Texas fronted by singer-songwriter and musician, Joe Lewis. A self-taught guitarist, Lewis he got his start in the Austin blues/garage rock scene releasing his first EP, Black Joe Lewis and The Cold Breeze, in 2005. Heavily influenced by blues pioneers like Howlin’ Wolf and funk/soul icon James Brown, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears have released six studio albums with their latest, The Difference Between Me & You, in 2018. They have performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Bonnaroo, and Coachella.
Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears will be joined by upstate New York blues/soul singer-songwriter and guitarist Shane Guerrette as the opening act.
