Tickets: $25 plus (free admission: 7 and under)

The country’s largest trading card and anime convention, Collect-A-Con, will return to Charlotte Convention Center this weekend with over 900 vendors selling sports cards, TCG cards (Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-oh), comic books, video games, Funko POP!s, vintage toys, and more. You can also bring items to submit for grading with PSA, consign collectibles, authenticate, sell, and trade with vendors at Collect-A-Con.

Special guests will include legendary martial arts expert and action star Chuck Norris; the Pink (Amy Jo Johnson), Blue (David Yost) and Black (Walter Jones) Power Rangers; and anime voice actors Sean Schemmel, Justin Briner, Bryce Papenbrook, Maile Flanagan, and Sarah Natochenny. Atlanta rap duo the Ying Yang Twins, who are best known for their 2000s hits “Salt Shaker,” “Wait (The Whisper Song),” “Shake,” and “Badd,” will also perform Saturday at the convention. 

Charlotte Collect-A-Con hours and schedule: 

Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
