The second annual Charlotte StrEATs Festival celebrates the city’s culinary scene with a Tasting Tour on Saturday and free community event on Sunday at Gateway Village in uptown. The festival will feature an appearance from renown chef, cookbook author, and Food Network personality Alex Guarnashelli on Sunday with a special cooking demo. Guarnashelli will also be emceeing the “Neighborhood Cook-off,” which will pit local chefs in a head-to-head battle to win the title of StrEATs Neighborhood Champion.

There are two types of tickets for Saturday’s StrEATs Tasting Tour:

The VIP Tasting Ticket (11 a.m – 3 p.m.) – $140: Includes early access to the StrEATs Tasting Tour, craft cocktails, a StrEATs recipe book, and a StrEATs canvas tote bag with goodies.

The General Admission Tasting Ticket (12 p.m. – 3 p.m.) – $85: Includes the StrEATs Tasting Tour with samples from over 20 restaurants and craft cocktails.
