Dave Chappelle returns to Charlotte Wednesday night after announcing three surprise shows last week including stops in Durham at DPAC on October 21 and North Charleston Performing Arts Center on October 22.
The co-creator and star of Chappelle’s Show, which aired on Comedy Central from 2003 to 2006, is a recipient of the prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. In 2023, he received his fourth Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album (The Closer), and released his latest Netflix special, The Dreamer, in the same year.
No cell phones will be allowed for this show. Anyone who brings in a cell phone will be required to place it in a locked pouch.
