Elf: The Musical will bring some holiday laughs and cheers to Charlotte’s Belk Theater this week. Based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, the musical adaptation features a score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, with a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin. The story follows Buddy, a human raised as an elf at the North Pole, who embarks on a journey to New York City to find his biological father and discover his true identity.
