Athens, Georgia Southern rock outfit, Futurebirds, will play two nights in Charlotte this week at Neighborhood Theatre following the release of their new album, Easy Company, in August. Formed in 2008, the band has shared stages with Grace Potter, Widespread Panic, Drive-By Truckers, Blitzen Trapper, and more, performing at Bonnaroo (2011, 2013) and Shaky Knees in 2023. They’ll play two sets on each night with a special acoustic set of all their classics reimagined in an intimate arrangement, followed by a fully plugged-in performance.
