The 3rd Annual Grateful Xmas Jam returns to Charlotte’s beloved dive bar and music venue Smokey Joe’s Café this weekend benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank, Toys for Tots, and BeLoved Asheville. The annual event paying tribute to Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead will feature performances by Charlotte Bluegrass Allstars and Long Strange Deal with special guests Chase Killough, Doug Pritchett, Charlie Trexler, Charlie Lamprecht, Chris Benson, Jimmy “Grub” Thornburg, Jessica Lamkin Moore, Taylor Winchester, William B. Kirkwood, and Lenny Federal.
