The Harvey B. Gantt Center will celebrate the opening of their new Digital Arts Studio, a state-of-the-art studio and innovation lab designed to provide cutting-edge technology to support the creativity of local artists. A safe space for education and discussions, the Digital Arts Studio will foster a community built on collaboration that will be open to the public.

The opening weekend will include two events: Art After Dark: The Phygital Funk on Friday, March 24 (6 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and the Community Opening Day on Saturday, March 25 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

Art After Dark: The Phygital Funk on Friday night, a 21 and older event, will mash the futuristic and funkadelic with studio demos, live music by The Bleus and DJ Fiji Boy, an interactive photo booth, NFT education, discussions, and adult beverages.

The Community Opening Day on Saturday welcomes all to check out the Phygital Funk: Local Creators Exhibition, explore virtual galleries, animation demos, guided tours, and more.
