Hootie & the Blowfish, the popular ’90s roots rock band that got their start at the University of South Carolina, will bring their 2024 tour to Charlotte this week celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Cracked Rear View. The two-time Diamond-certified album is one of the best-selling rock records of all time. The group consisting of members Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld will reunite for their first official tour since 2019.
Collective Soul is a rock band from Georgia best known for their hit songs “Shine,” “December,” and “The World I Know.” Their breakthrough came with their 1994 album Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid featuring the hit single “Shine,” and their self-titled 1995 album went triple-platinum with “December,” “Where the River Flows” and “The World I Know.” Collective Soul released a new album, Here to Eternity, on May 17.
Edwin McCain is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Greenville, South Carolina best known for his ’90s hits “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask for More.” He has released eleven albums throughout his career with five charting on the Billboard 200.
