Hope Nicholls, the frontwoman of ’80s North Carolina Music Hall of Fame band, Fetchin Bones, and the lead vocalist/drummer for indie rock outfit, It’s Snakes, celebrates her 65th birthday with a rock show at Snug Harbor. Fetchin Bones was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2023, alongside Betty Davis, Loudon Wainwright III, Scotty McCreery, and Bill “Fatback” Curtis.
Nicholls’ current band with husband Aaron Pitkin (guitar), Darrin Gray (bass), and Greg Walsh (guitar), It’s Snakes, released their fourth studio album, Yes, in 2023. Nicholls, who fronted rock bands Sugarsmack and Snagglepuss in the ’90s and 2000s, is also the owner of Charlotte clothing boutique, Boris & Natasha.
J. Roddy Walston, the singer-songwriter and pianist, best known for his work with J. Roddy Walston and the Business and Palm Palm, will play a special solo set.
Savage & The Witch are a San Diego, California thrash metal duo.
