Jazz @ the Gantt, a monthly series produced by JazzArts Charlotte’s Ocie Davis, presents the Luther S. Allison Trio.

Hailing from Charlotte and an alumnus of JazzArts Charlotte, Allison is based in Manhattan, and has performed nationally and internationally alongside Rodney Whitaker, Etienne Charles, Michael Dease, Greg Tardy, and is currently the pianist for Ulysses Owens Jr.’s Generation Y Quintet. He currently hosts a weekly Sunday night jam session in Harlem at the legendary jazz club Minton’s Playhouse and plays at clubs and venues throughout the city.
