Moon Hooch and Too Many Zooz, collectively known as Moon Zooz, are bringing their 2025 tour to Charlotte’s Neighborhood Theatre this week. The tour offers fans an opportunity to experience the dynamic fusion of Moon Hooch’s horn-driven jazz and Too Many Zooz’s brass house style of music.
Moon Hooch, a trio known for blending horn-driven jazz, electronic music, and percussion, formed in 2010, performing in New York City subways. The members consist of horn players Mike Wilbur and Wenzl McGowen, and drummer Ethan Snyder.
Too Many Zooz is a “Brass House” trio that blends avant-garde jazz, EDM, and punk rock. The band was formed in 2013 by saxophonist Leo Pellegrino, trumpeter Matt Muirhead, and drummer David Parks,
Gable Johnson III (better known as Honeycomb), a musician, beatboxer and influencer, will open the show.
