Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar will bring his Best of All Worlds Tour to Charlotte this week with his all-star band featuring guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Jason Bonham (son of Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham), and bassist Michael Anthony. The supergroup will perform mostly Van Halen songs (some from the David Lee Roth era) and a few of Hagar’s solo releases.

Hagar replaced David Lee Roth as lead vocalist of Van Halen in 1985, and all four of his albums with the band topped the Billboard charts. He is also the lead singer of Chickenfoot and Sammy Hagar and the Circle; as well as the founder of the tequila brand and restaurant chain, Cabo Wabo.

Hagar and company will be joined by Canadian rock band Loverboy, who are best known for their hits ’80s hits “Working for the Weekend” and “Turn Me Loose.”
