Newport Beach, California alternative rock band, Sugar Ray, will headline Saturday night’s Carowinds Summer Music Fest. Fronted by lead singer Mark McGrath, they are best known for their radio hits “Fly,” “Every Morning,” “Someday,” and “When It’s Over.”

Louisiana alternative rockers, Better Than Ezra, are best known for their multi-platinum album, Deluxe, which featured the single “Good.” They have released nine studio albums with their latest, Super Magick, on May 3.

Tonic is a post-grunge band, popular in the ’90s for their hits “If You Could Only See,” “You Wanted More,” and “Open Up Your Eyes.”

The gates of the Paladium will open at 5:00 p.m. with Tonic scheduled to take the stage at 6:20 p.m., Better than Ezra at 7:30 p.m., and Sugar Ray at 9:00 p.m. Seating at Carowinds Paladium is first-come, first-serve with Section 1 seating reserved for guests who collect a free wristband at Thrill Zone Stage (near Hurler) on the day of each performance (while supplies lasts).
