The Grammy Award-winning R&B/soul vocal group, The Manhattans will perform at Charlotte’s Knight Theater with special guests, Wilbert Hart’s Delfonics. Led by Henderson, North Carolina native Gerald Alston who took over as the lead singer for The Manhattans in 1970, the legendary group is best known for their hits “Kiss and Say Goodbye” and “Shining Star.”
The last living member of Philadelphia soul group, The Delfonics, Wilbert Hart brings the hits of the iconic vocal group including “La-La (Means I Love You,”Ready or Not Here I Come (Can’t Hide from Love)” and “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time).”
