D.C. rapper Wale returns to Charlotte for the first time since 2019 this week, bringing his Every Blue Moon Tour to The Fillmore. Throughout his career, Wale has released seven studio albums, three compilations, and ten mixtapes with 2013’s The Gifted and 2015’s The Album About Nothing topping the Billboard charts. He has collaborated with a decorated list of artists including J. Cole, Pharrell Williams, Lil Wayne, Dua Lipa, Rick Ross, Megan thee Stallion, Rihanna, Usher, Jeremih, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, and Miguel, releasing his latest studio album, Folarin II, in 2021. Wale is expected to release his eighth studio album sometime in the coming year.
