Memphis rapper Key Glock will be in Charlotte for a special in-store appearance at Lunchbox Records on Thursday, May 8 at 5 p.m. Fans will have the chance to meet him in person and get a signed copy of his upcoming album, Glockaveli, dropping May 2.
The cousin of late rapper Young Dolph, Glock has carved out his own lane with a string of hits like “Let’s Go” and “Ambition for Cash.” His 2022 project, Glockoma 2, reached No. 13 on the Billboard 200, and he’s now gearing up for his fourth studio album and and a tour stop at Bojangles Coliseum on May 30.
To attend the meet-and-greet at Lunchbox Records (825 Central Ave.), fans can preorder Glockaveli through their official website or purchase it in-store to receive a wristband for entry.
Along with his solo catalog — which includes three studio albums and a slew of mixtapes since 2016 — Glock also teamed up with Young Dolph for two collab albums: Dum and Dummer (2019) and Dum and Dummer 2 (2021). He has released three singles from the forthcoming album: “No Sweat,” “The Grinch,” and “3AM in ToKEYo.”
