Killer Mike has announced a U.S. tour with a full gospel choir, coming to Charlotte this summer

Coming off the announcement of his new album, Michael, set to be released in June featuring André 3000, Lil Wayne, Dave Chappelle, 6LACK and more, rapper and activist Killer Mike has announced a U.S. tour, returning to Charlotte this summer on Saturday, July 15 to The Underground. The High & Holy Tour will hit 19 cities including Pitchfork Music Festival with his full choir, The Midnight Revival, performing songs from his new album as well as hits from R.A.P. Music, PLEDGE, and more.

Killer Mike first came to prominence on Outkast’s 2000 album, Stankonia, and has also released four studio albums with producer and rapper El-P as Run the Jewels. Michael is his sixth solo studio album and first since 2012’s R.A.P. Music.

Pre-sale starts Wednesday, May 3 at 10 a.m. (code: ICONIC), and tickets go on sale to the public Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m.
