It’s hard to believe LaMelo Ball is only 21 years old. The child social media star that many thought might be an NBA bust has turned out to be one of the league’s brightest young stars. The first Charlotte player to bring home the Rookie of the Year honor since Emeka Okafor 2004-05 (Bobcats) and first Hornet since Larry Johnson (1991-92), Ball has proven many of his skeptics wrong with his elite court vision and dazzling passes. Averaging 18.1 points and seven assists per game so far in his first two seasons in the league, the NBA All-Star looks poised to have a breakout season.
