Multi-platinum rapper Lil Wayne has announced a five-city headlining tour, that will stop in Raleigh at Lenovo Center on Saturday, March 15. The New Orleans native and Young Money Entertainment head honcho will also be bringing Atlanta rapper Quavo (formerly of Migos) and Charlotte-based singer-songwriter/rapper, Anella Herim.
Wayne is coming off a collab project with 2 Chainz, Welcome 2 Collegrove, and his latest mixtape, Tha Fix Before Tha V, in 2023. Quavo, who released his latest solo project, Rocket Power, in 2023, has been experimenting with new sounds, collaborating with Lana Del Ray (“Tough”), Teddy Swims (“Georgia Ways”), and Lenny Kravitz (“Fly”) in the past year.
Trinity, North Carolina native and Charlotte resident, Anella Herim, has released a slew of singles and EPs since signing to Def Jam in 2022. The protege of 2 Chainz’ DJ and music industry exec, E. Sudd, Herim is expected to release a new project this month.
Presale for the Lil Wayne tour with Quavo and Anella Herim will start Wednesday, January 8 at 12 p.m. (code: TUNECHILIVE) with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, January 10 at 10 a.m.
