Fresh off his music video directorial debut on J. Cole’s “Middle Child,” Raleigh, North Carolina native Mez returns with his own music video for his track “MF+G.” The song, from his two-song project Data Plan .002 in November, is a dark and lyrically abstract song reminiscent of the West Coast sounds of Kendrick.
Fans have been waiting for a full project from Mez since his contributions on Dr. Dre’s Compton in 2015. With the recent video work with J. Cole and the anticipated contribution on Dreamville’s upcoming Revenge of the Dreamers III, we hope this means more music released by Mez in 2019.
