High Water Festival announces food lineup for 2019

The third-year music event High Water Festival, curated by the Charleston-based folk rock duo Shovels & Rope taking place at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, have already announced an impressive music lineup that includes Leon Bridges, The Head & The Heart, Lord Huron, Dr. Dog, Jenny Lewis, and Phosphorescent.

Now they’ve announced their lineup of over 20 local and regional food vendors that include the popular Texas-style Lewis Barbeque, festival favorite Roti Rolls, contemporary Mexican restaurant Semilla, Japanese “Soul Bowl” food truck Tamashii, ice cream giant Ben & Jerry’s, and many more.

In addition to the impressive lineup of food vendors and music, the festival will bring back their family-style dining experience Pass the Peas featuring chefs Jacques Larson (Obstinate Daughter and Wild Olive), Shuai Wang (Short Grain), Jill Mathias (Chez Nous), and Evan Gaudreau (Renzo) with libations crafted by Craig Nelson of Charleston’s Proof. The Low Tide Social kickoff party (Friday, April 12) will celebrate all things Charleston with a Lowcountry boil from The Smoking Pot, fresh oysters, desserts, craft specialty cocktails, and a night of live music featuring Shrimp Records Family Band.

High Water Festival is one of the regions premier music and food experiences gathering a solid selection of indie rock, Americana, folk and soul bands, taking place April 13-14 in North Charleston at the serene Riverfront Park. Check out the full lineup and learn more about High Water Festival.
