Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Neil Young is set to return on tour with his new band, The Chrome Hearts, kicking off his North American dates in Charlotte at PNC Music Pavilion on August 8. In anticipation of his upcoming album, Talkin’ to the Trees, the Canadian folk-rock legend will also headline Glastonbury Festival in England this year.
In 2024, Young toured with his band Crazy Horse for the first time in ten years but canceled the second half of the tour due to illness among the band members and fatigue.
Young’s career began in the ’60s as a solo artist and with the bands Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He has released over 40 solo studio albums, including Harvest (1972), After the Gold Rush (1970), Rust Never Sleeps (1979), and Tonight’s the Night (1975), which are considered landmarks in rock and folk music. Young is a multiple Grammy and Juno Award-winner and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: first as a solo artist in 1995 and again as a member of Buffalo Springfield in 1997.
In January, Young released “Big Change,” the first single with his band The Chrome Hearts, from the forthcoming album Talkin’ to the Trees.
Neil Young Archive members will have first access to the presale on Tuesday, February 25, at 10 a.m. The Live Nation presale will start on Thursday, February 27, at 10 a.m. (code: DUET) with tickets going on sale to the public on Friday, February 28, at 10 a.m.
