The Carolina Panthers have announced their annual Fan Fest will take place in Clemson, South Carolina on August 1, returning to the stadium where they played all of their home games in the inaugural 1995 season. Celebrating the franchise’s 30th season, the Panthers will also host training camp in Charlotte (705 W. 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202) starting Wednesday, July 24 with interactive fan activities, concessions, and the opportunity for autographs after practice.

“As we head into our 30th season, we’re looking forward to bringing football to our fans across the Carolinas this summer, including going to Clemson where it all began,” said Kristi Coleman, President of the Carolina Panthers. “From bringing training camp to Charlotte to honoring our South Carolina ties by hosting Fan Fest at Clemson, we are excited to celebrate our fans across both states.”

In 1995, the Panthers kicked off their inaugural season playing their home games in Clemson, South Carolina, while Ericsson Stadium was still under construction. The Panthers won five of their eight games at Memorial Stadium en route to a 7-9 season, the best debut for any expansion franchise since the NFL’s inception.

The Panthers have held training camp at Wofford College annually since 1995 with the exception in 2020, during the pandemic. While Fan Fest will take place outside of Charlotte for the first time, the team will still host its annual Back Together Saturday practice on Saturday, July 27 at Bank of America Stadium featuring appearances by the TopCats, Purrcussion, Black & Blue Crew, and Sir Purr. The Panthers will also host a joint practice with the New York Jets on August 15.

Training camp tickets will be available starting Tuesday, July 9 (fans can get four free tickets for each of the 14 open practices). Tickets for Fan Fest ($5) on August 1 in Clemson will be available for purchase Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m., and will feature an open team practice, Panthers merch store, performances, and a fireworks show.
