The Panthers will open up Bank of America Stadium on Thursday, April 27 for a draft party celebrating the team’s No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The event will feature on-field activities including the Play 60 Kids Combine with a 40-yard dash and tailgate games, appearances by Panthers legends Luke Kuechly, Wesley Walls, Mike Rucker, Jake Delhomme, Mike Tolbert, and a special Legends Barber Lounge with former Panthers defensive back, Sherrod Martin. The TopCats, Sir Purr, PurrCussion and the Black & Blue Crew will also perform before the evening concludes with a fireworks and light show.
Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. with coverage of the NFL Draft’s first round projecting on the stadium big screens beginning at 8 p.m. Fans in attendance will also have the opportunity to visit the game field, tour the Panthers locker room, and get autographs and photos with select Panthers legends.
Admission to the 2023 Carolina Panthers Draft Party is $5 and ticket proceeds will benefit Carolina Panthers charities. Fans can reserve a maximum of six (6) tickets per account. The NFL Clear Bag Policy will be enforced, but fans are encouraged to bring blankets to watch the draft on the game field.
Update (4/27): Activities and activations will move to the stadium concourse with free ponchos available to fans (while supplies last). Umbrellas are not permitted and standard stadium policies and the NFL Clear Bag Policy are in place for the event.
David and Nicole Tepper, General Manager Scott Fitterer and Head Coach Frank Reich will take the stage to give fans in attendance their immediate reactions to the pick. Other on-field stage guests include Derrick Brown, Ikem Ekwonu and Adam Thielen.
The Panthers Team Store will also be open during the Draft Party so fans will have the opportunity to pre-order the No. 1 pick’s jersey.
