Shovels & Rope, a popular folk-duo based out of Charleston, South Carolina have been teasing the announcement for a new festival called High Water Festival. We couldn’t help but notice The Avett Brothers, Deer Tick and Lucius posting content mentioning the announcement through their channels.

Shovels & Rope along with AC Entertainment, a company based out of Knoxville, TN, most known for organizing music festivals like, Bonnaroo, Forecastle and Big Ears announced the lineup for the inaugural High Water Fest. The lineup includes The Avett Brothers, The Shins, Shovels & Rope, Nathaniel Rateliffe & The Night Sweats, Dawes, Lucius, Charles Bradley, Deer Tick, Margo Price, and many more (see full lineup below).

High Water Festival is designed to have Lowcountry culture meet a vibrant and diverse musical lineup in a beautiful waterfront environment just outside historic Charleston, SC. “This festival is a chance for us to have some fun and show people a good time in our own backyard, while also supporting the local businesses and non-profits in our community” Shovels & Rope said in a press statement.

In addition to bringing together more than 20 musical acts across two stages, the festival will host exclusive Charleston chef-curated dining experiences; local craft beer, wine, and cocktail immersions that will all be announced soon. This is shaping up to be one heck of a Carolina shindig.

Passes go on sale Friday, November 18 on the website. For the early-bird GA price of $99.50, moving to $119.50 once that allotment is gone, VIP will go for $274.50 (with access to priority entrance, premium viewing area, hangout space with food and drink, reserved parking, and more)
