The Common Market, a Charlotte staple since 2002, has announced expansion into the Triangle area with a new store opening this fall in Durham, North Carolina at 1821 Green Street, located at the intersection of Ninth Street, Trinity Park and Trinity Heights neighborhoods.

Graham Worth, who joined The Common Market as a partner in 2016, will work with Hood Architecture for the renovation at 1821 Green Street in Durham. The look and feel of the exterior will evoke a ’50s-style gas station with a basement and rooftop skylight added for a total of 5000 square feet of retail and hang-out space, according to the press release.

“As a Raleigh native, I’ve been eager to get back to bring The Common Market to the Triangle’s rich food scene and vibrant community,” Owner Graham Worth said.

This will be the fourth Common Market Worth has opened.
