To celebrate the release of her highly anticipated third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, set to be released on May 17, Billie Eilish has announced listening events across North America at select AMC Theatre locations. Fans in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Fayetteville will have the opportunity to listen to the new album before its release, accompanied by visuals in spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, a new immersive sound technology that allows music to be interpreted three-dimensionally.
The listening event in Charlotte will take place at AMC Concord Mills 24 on Thursday, May 16 at 3:00 p.m. (also in Raleigh at AMC Southpoint 17 and Fayetteville at AMC Fayetteville 14). Tickets are $5, and a portion of the proceeds go to AMC Cares Charitable Fund, which provides grants and financial assistance to qualified non-profit organizations.
Eilish recently announced the Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour in late April with stops in North America and Europe between September 2024 and July 2025. Unfortunately, no North Carolina dates have been announced yet. She last performed in Charlotte back in February of 2022.
