It was announced yesterday that Charlotte rapper Lute was signed to J. Cole’s record label, Dreamville. The label dropped a surprise mixed tape last night called, Revenge of the Dreamers II which featured the Charlotte, NC born rapper along with current Dreamville labelmates Bas, Omen, and Cozz.
In addition to signing Lute, Dreamville also announced the signing of Ari Lennox, a Washington, DC area singer.
Lute has been on the radar for J. Cole since they were first introduced. He recently gave a shout out to Lute at PNC Pavilion back in August, telling the audience that Lute was the hottest rapper in Charlotte.
