Grammy Award-winning British R&B singer Ella Mai will return this summer for shows in Charlotte and Raleigh, playing Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre on August 16 and Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater on August 18. Best known for her hits “Trip” and “Boo’d Up,” Mai released her third studio album, Do You Still Love Me?, on February 6, debuting at No. 15 on the Billboard 200.

Mai will be joined by UK R&B singer Ama, best known for her songs “Northside” and “Tried Up,” and rising Mississippi native, Los Angeles-based Kenya Edwards (Girlfriend), who released a new album, Honey Water, in January.

In November 2024, Mai celebrated the birth of her son with NBA star Jayson Tatum and marked her 30th birthday with the surprise release of her EP, 3. The project’s lead single, “Little Things,” became another top 10 R&B hit, setting the stage for Do You Still Love Me?. Created during her pregnancy and postpartum period, the album unfolds as a series of intimate “love letters” exploring communication and perspective. Unlike her previous work, she collaborated exclusively with longtime producer Mustard.

Ella Mai last performed in Charlotte in 2022 as a special guest on Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous Tour, and in Raleigh in 2023 for her Heart on My Sleeve Tour. Artist presale for the tour begins Thursday, March 19 at 10 a.m., with tickets going on sale to the public Friday, March 20 at 10 a.m.
