The Blumey Awards recognize Charlotte-area high school musical theatre talent, highlighting arts education within the community. The Blumey Awards celebrate their 10th Anniversary this year with a one-night-only event benefiting the Blumey Inspire Fund, providing resources to students and theater programs in the Carolinas.
The evening will feature performances by Mekhai Lee (The Color Purple, 2014 Blumey Awards Best Actor), Maya Sistruck (The Great Gatsby), Justin Rivers (2016 and 2017 Blumey Awards Best Actor), and Sayo Oni (Hadestown on Broadway, 2019 Blumey Awards Best Actor).
