A celebration of Black History presented by spoken-word artist and author Dionne D. Hunter, featuring Emmy Award-winning spoken word artist Boris “Bluz” Rogers, Charlotte’s Poet Laureate Junious ‘Jay’ Ward, Keith Allison, and Linda Orji.
The event will also feature choreography from Vision Elite Royalty Dance Studio and Jerry Dean aka “Ungraceful Jay” with music by violinist Candice “Pretty Stringz” Smith and rapper Spencer “Suspence” Sims. Visual artists Laurisha Fant, Tajmah Allison, and Mike Bennett will also showcase their works.
