Baba Commandant and the Mandingo Band are a world music group from Burkina Faso, a landlocked country in West Africa. The group is rooted in traditional Mandingue music with a blend of Afrobeat styles. The band released their latest album, Sonbonbela, on September 2, 2022, through Seattle label Sublime Frequencies.
Bravo Pueblo is an experimental electro-pop band based in Charlotte consisting of siblings Liza and Claudio Ortiz along with Lisandro Herrera.
