Ms. Lauryn Hill has announced additional dates for the long-awaited 25th anniversary tour celebrating her monumental debut album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Hill will reunite with the Fugees for all North American shows starting in her home state of New Jersey in October, performing in Charlotte on December 1 at Spectrum Center.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator,” Hill said in a statement. “I wrote love songs and protest songs – (still love songs) about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me. I was confident that what inspired me would resonate with an audience that had been led to believe that songs of that kind could only live in the past.”

In June, Hill performed with Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel of the Fugees at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia. Hill last performed in Charlotte in 2017, but canceled two dates in North Carolina (Charlotte and Raleigh) in 2018 for her 20th anniversary tour for The Miseducation.
